2. Work with Registered Social Landlords (Housing Associations), Local Authorities, other agencies and individuals to advise and support the building of innovative, affordable and energy efficient housing for social rental and low cost home ownership opportunities in rural areas in need of affordable housing.

3. Research innovative, affordable and energy efficient housing to produce educational literature and materials (multi language versions) to be used for public information, advice and distribution.

4. Conduct public information sessions and training workshops in low carbon living and house building.

5. Create working partnerships with other groups and organisations who have carbon reduction and rural community regeneration as a primary objective.

6. Increase community capacity in low carbon living and building through creating a centralised base of accessible knowledge, expertise, support and training.

7. Promote and encourage environmentally and ecologically harmonious life styles.
